Mission

On September 29, 2000 the Sunchasers Motorcycle Club, Inc. became an official registered agent as a Florida Domestic Non-Profit Corporation. The club's principal address was 223 S. Martin Luther King Blvd Daytona Beach, FL 32114. In 2012 the Sunchasers relocated to their new club house location, 541 Cedar Street, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.

Sunchasers Motorcycle Club unofficially dates back to 1999. A group of motorcycle enthusiast formed an unbreakable bond through collaboration, camaraderie, share values, and together enjoy the Florida open air through riding motorcycles in a fun, safe and respectful way. In addition to riding, the Sunchasers engage in volunteer efforts by supporting their community. This is done by volunteering their time and expertise to aid in supporting positive endeavors. Their contributions and humanitarian efforts have immediate positive impact on families, and also those that are in need.

Bessie Stringfield (February 9,1911 – February 1993), nicknamed "The Motorcycle Queen of Miami",[2] was the first Jamaican-American woman to ride across the United States solo, and during World War II she served as one of the few motorcycle despatch riders for the United States military.

William Johnson was both the first African American Harley-Davidson dealer and the first African American licensed to compete in national motorcycle racing events. Johnson signed on with Harley-Davidson sometime in the 1920s, managing during nearly 60 years Johnson’s Harley-Davidson out of a converted blacksmith shop.
